The Hauser PTO is excited to offer a Social Theatre program to the 6th grade class. The Social Theatre program will be offered during students Science/Social Studies block on Thursday December 4th and Friday December 5th. Students will be broken into small groups. We are looking for parent volunteers to lead the small groups. Teachers and staff will be present to handle behavior issues, and all instruction and information will be provided. No experience is required! Please consider volunteering for this fun event!
What is Social Theatre?
Social Theatre™ provides a platform for children through young adulthood to practice social skills and collaboration through role plays, skill-based improv games, and sometimes humorous skits. When practicing about social awkwardness, participants learn how to laugh and embrace their humanity. Furthermore, research shows that humor is one of the most effective coping skills.
