What does the Hauser PTO do?
The Hauser PTO is about parent involvement. That's because more than 500 independent research studies show that building parent involvement in education is the number one thing we can do to create a great school and improve student performance.
Why does the PTO need me? Aren't junior high kids supposed to learn independence?
The research is clear: children whose parents stay involved at the junior high level get better grades and are less likely to experiment with drugs and alcohol.
What kind of time commitment is required?
We welcome any level of involvement you can manage. Whether you want to just stay informed via our newsletters, work an hour at a PTO event, run a committee, or plan a new event, we have a place for you.
When and where are the meetings?
We hold monthly meetings in the evenings. Check the district calendar, the PTO website, or PTO newsletters for details about dates, times, and location. Or click this link: PTO Meeting Schedule
Should I attend the meetings?
We encourage you to come if you can. Meetings are a great way to get questions answered and to help you feel connected to what is going on in your child's school life.
What if I can't attend the meetings? How will I know what's going on?
We will send PTO news and information via e-mail. In your website profile, you have the option to receive the newsletter. You will receive information about events, meeting summaries, event fliers, fundraising information, volunteer opportunities, late-breaking news, and more.
How do I get the e-mail newsletter?
You can sign up in your website profile.
What if I don't want to get the e-mail newsletter?
You may unsubscribe at any time.
What does it cost to join the PTO?
Nothing. All parents and teachers are automatically members of our PTO.

Thank you to the Willhites! 

Christy and Joe are amazing PTO volunteers!!

Their 2024 contributions have included organizing supplies and preparation for last week's Pasta Dinner AND Joe managing the kitchen during the event! Christy has also been integral in the planning of the current Hauser Fights Hunger fundraiser.
