Hauser Fights Hunger

Hauser Fights Hunger is in its 5th decade!

We have parents and grandparents who remember bringing cans to Hauser when they were in school, and now their children and grandchildren are doing the same.

The spring canned food drive is at the heart of the program, but now Hauser is fighting hunger year-round!

Every month, students and parent volunteers are delivering non-perishable food to local food pantries, including the Riverside Food Pantry, Riverside Presbyterian Church Little Pantry, and the Brookfield Share Food Share Love Food Pantry.

In the month of April, all the students involved to fight hunger by packing meals during school.  We partner with Feed6 to give students a hands on experience in fighting food insecurity. The non-perishable food items collected and the meals that are packed will be shared with our local food pantries and the Salvation Army Englewood.
