What a successful Hauser Help Hunger Drive! Thank you, Hauser!

Posted Mar 5, 2019 | Category: News

What a great Help Hauser Hunger Drive we had!

As of Friday, we have reached a total of 6,779  cans and a few more are still trickling in.  Look for the grand total next week.  6th grade clinched the grade by grade competition and they will have a Friday Fun afternoon coming up. Congratulations 6th grade on a job well done!  The final totals were…..

6th grade – 2,726

8th grade –2,706

7th grade – 1,071

On Saturday, nearly 400 volunteers came out to pack 30,000 meals for hungry children and families.  It was an amazing day!  To make that happen, we raised $10,796 to purchase the food supplies for packing. We will also be purchasing some additional canned/non-perishable food with the donations collected.  All the food will be delivered to the Riverside Food Pantry and the Salvation Army Red Shield Center Food Pantry in Endglewood next week.

It was an incredible act of kindness by the Hauser community….one we should all be very proud off.   Thanks for the bottom of our hearts!
