• Students will preview and shop the Book Fair during the day with their ELA class.
• Students will also have the opportunity to shop during their lunch hour.

Start the Raging Waves Fitness Program TODAY!

Students are invited to “Plunge into Fitness” this spring as Raging Waves Waterpark joins the battle against childhood obesity. Each student completing the program requirements between February 10th – April 6th will receive a FREE full day admission pass to Raging Waves (valid between May 30 – June 30) OR a $10 off certificate(valid between July 1 – September 7). Raging Waves is located in Yorkville.

STUDENTS: Exercise a minimum of 30 minutes each day from February 10th – April 6th. Log your time and have a parent/guardian sign the log.

PARENTS/GUARDIANS: Print the log listed below and help track your child’s fitness, then sign the form and send it back to school or email it to the School Coordinator Domenica Jiménez at leandom@iit.edu by Monday, April 6th.

Food Drive to Kick Off Next Week!

The annual Hauser Food Drive is kicking off next Wednesday, February 19th with grade level assemblies to the students. This is a special year – It’s the 50th year the students at Hauser have helped in the fight against Hunger. What an impact we have made!

To celebrate 50 years, we hope to pack 50,000 meals at our Feed Our Community Day on Saturday, April 4th and collect 15,000 non-perishable items over the month long drive. To reach our meal packing goal, we need to raise $15,000 for the meal packing supplies.

Could you help us reach our goals? Please consider making a monetary donation, donating non-perishable food items, or packing meals at Feed Our Community Day. All of us working together to help in the Fight against Hunger  – a great learning experience for our kids.

The PTO is selling “Slice the Price” Cards from Domino’s for $10 each.  This fundraiser will run until Monday, February 10th.
