The Hauser PTO is running a one week card fundraiser!  Support L.J. Hauser Junior High by selecting from 4 boxes of Handcrafted Greetings Cards with Coordinating Envelopes.

For each $30 box of 30 Cards sold, our school will receive $13, a 43% return! Our boxes of unique and embellished cards are perfect for gifting or keeping to use throughout the year! Save time and money – keep a box of cards on hand for those last minute invites, children’s birthday parties, & graduation gift thank you notes.  Check out the boxes below. Samples are available to look at in the Hauser office too.

Don’t want to shop for school supplies? We’ve got the solution!   Hauser PTO will again be offering a school supply kit program for all three grades here at Hauser. We’re using The Write Stuff as the vendor, and the sale runs from now through June 28th.

Some highlights of the 2018-2019 program include:

    • You can remove items from the list if you already have them!
    • Calculators are not included in the kit, but can be ordered separately if you need one.
  • All kits will be shipped to your home later in the summer – the flat shipping rate is $7.95.
  • This is an online only sale. There is not an option to write a check.
  • A small portion of each sale will benefit our PTO.

Calling all 8th graders: Permission slip for the 8th Grade Graduation Party were due today May 15.  If you have not returned your permission slip, please complete and return to the Hauser office.  No 8th grader will be allowed to attend the celebration without a signed permission slip!  The permission slip is attached below.

It is Hauser Teacher Appreciation Week this week!

This year’s theme is:  “Now Showing”.  Each day of the week will have a theme — Monday-Thanks a “Latte”, Tuesday-It’s been a “Sweet” year, Wednesday-Keep Calm and Teach On, Thursday-We are “Popping” with thanks and Friday-Thanks for a “Picture Perfect Year”.  In addition to treats throughout the week and a luncheon, we would also like to give the staff some gifts throughout the day on Friday.  Still would like to contribute?  There are few spots left for donations and volunteers.  Please see the sign-up below.  Any money received will be put toward the luncheon and/or raffle items.  Any questions, contact Hilda Ortiz at 708-710-0911 or Olga Diaz.

Hauser’s Spring Open House. During Open House will be held on Thursday, May 10 at 7:00 PM.  Please peruse the cafeteria, hallways, and LRC to enjoy the student artwork displayed in those areas. Donations for student artwork will be accepted in the cafeteria. 8th grade students are raising money for their class gift which will support Camp ALEC and Jen’s Kids. All proceeds and donations will go directly to these two charities.
