Hauser 6th graders are invited to participate in Volleyball Clinics during January and February. The clinics are open to 6th graders only, boys and girls, and will stress fundamentals as well as advanced skills. The dates are:

Track practice at Hauser has started. Parents: please exercise caution when entering the playground and/or parking lot at Hauser. The safety of all Hauser students is always a concern. Whenever possible, please avoid driving across the parking lot, opting to drop off/pick up your child on Akenside or in front of Hauser instead. No one should be parked anywhere on the playground at any time unless it is in a designated spot (along the lilac bushes by Akenside or along the side by the church), even when athletes are not outside utilizing the practice facility. Please do not park by the field in order to pick up your child after school. If you do in fact have to drive across the parking lot, please go very slowly.

Practices are held in the morning and from 3:30 to 5:45 Monday – Friday. At times track athletes are inside conditioning or in front of the building doing their workouts, so please exercise caution in the morning and past 6:00 p.m. Our track season is very short and we would like to utilize the facility to the best of our ability. We appreciate your help in this matter.

8th Grade girls and boys basketball teams take on Hauser’s faculty on Monday, February 1, after school in the large gym. Admission is free. There will be a concession stand. Students can win a prize if they sink a free throw.

On Sunday, January 31, from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m., RB is sponsoring an event for 7th & 8th grade students. At the “Day of Champions” there will be games and competitions in Wall climbing, Swimming, Tug-o-war, Shuttle runs, Weight lifting, Passing accuracy, and more.
