51st Hauser Food Drive – Help us reach our goals!

Posted Apr 5, 2021 | Category: News

The annual Hauser Food Drive kicked off last week at school. The drive looks a little different this year but, as it has for the last 50 years, it will help in the fight against hunger when so many are in need.

For the month of April, Hauser will pick up where we left off last year when our food drive came to an abrupt end. We will pack 50,000 meals and strive for every student to bring in a brown bag full of food for those in need.

Our drive will benefit – the Salvation Army’s Englewood Red Shield Center Food Pantry, the Riverside Township Food Pantry and the Share Love Share Food Food Pantry in Brookfield.

Kick-Off Video – Students watched the kick-off video in their WIN class last week. Click HERE to view video.

  • Food donations will be collected for three weeks in April
  • Students are encouraged to return Brown Bag filled with non-perishable food. There will be a grade level competition – so fill those bags up!

Food Packing

  • We were a beneficiary of the sale of the church after it closed
  • The community meal packing event started at this church in 2012
