Book Fair Puts More Books in School
Posted Mar 5, 2012 | Category: Book FairThank you to the many volunteers who helped at this year’s Book Fair: you made the event a success with your efforts! And thank you to the parents and kids who found great books to read and buy–so many, in fact, that Hauser had its most successful book fair in recent memory.
With the profits, we were able to immediately add $1,600 worth of books to the school library and classroom libraries. There is still money to be spent on even more books–we’ll see what the library needs come Fall. With sales after tax equaling around $3,200, we got a lot of books into kids’ hands! That is wonderful news.
This year’s fair had a large selection of new and interesting books, including a lot of paperbacks at reasonable prices. If you missed out, we hope you are able to visit the book fair next year.
Happy reading!
Hauser’s annual Book Fair and Family Dinner are next week, and we need your help! If you are able to give an hour or two of your time to make these events a success, please sign up online:

The Hauser Book Fair runs before school on Wednesday through Friday this week; after school on Wednesday and Thursday; and throughout the Family Dinner on Thursday, February 10 (from 5:00 to 7:30 pm).
