For the last 53 years, Hauser Junior High School students have worked hard to collect and donate food to help in the fight against hunger!
In conjunction with the annual Hauser Canned Food Drive, the Hauser PTO is again partnering with Outreach, Inc., an international 501(c) 3 non-profit, to co-host a month long “Feed Our Community” event at Hauser Jr. High School.
ALL Hauser students will be packing meals this year during the school day enabling each child to experience the joy and satisfaction of helping the less fortunate. The meals packed, along with the food collected, will be delivered to the Riverside Township Food Pantry, Brookfield Share Food Share Love Food Pantry the Salvation Army Red Shield Center Food Pantry in Englewood, and local residents in need. With your donations from the Step It Up program, we will purchase cans of food, as well as supplies to prepare meals for hungry children, seniors and families.
The Feed Our Community Event will take place in April.
The fundraising to make it all happen starts now!
Can we count on your support?
Our goal is to pack 50,000 meals to feed our community.
